I work nights so I dont know how I would do it I work 3 to 4 nights a week.So Im not sure when to eat any ideas...:
Whatever your normal wake time hours are would be considered your "day". I'm actually not on the 3hour diet, but I already incorporate that most of the time already. It's easier than you think. Mostly you need to reprogram yourself to have breakfast (within an hour of waking). Then plan a lunch and supper, then carry snacks for between each of those meals. Eating this often doesn't mean you have to sit down to a whole meal every time. I got my grab bag of carrots out today and ate them in 5ish minutes. Packing for work isn't too bad either if you shop for on the go type products. The more natural, the better. Mostly it is a matter of "planning" your day. Then you can proceed to enjoy the rest of the day without worry. Get a fitday diary if you don't already have one. I find recording my foods helps me to be more aware. Awareness builds confidence and gives you the tools to be successful.
You eat within an hour of waking - typically a 400 calorie brakfast - there are specifics about the balance and quantity of foods. then three hours later - a 100 calorie snack. Three hours after that - a 400 calorie lunch - then three hours later a 100 calorie snack and then again three hours after that a 100 calorie snack. NEVER eat within three hours of bed... This is not unsupported old-wives tale stuff. There is a body of credible evidence behind all of it and it is presented nicely in Jorge's book. Essential the idea is to keep your blood sugar stable to ward off hunger - I consider it to be a protein-centric diet - but ALL foods are included insensible quantities.
It is easy to do - worht the $20 investment or so for the book... Give it a try - and join us here - we can help you!

Also, if you want to go the cheap way, you may be able to find the book at a used book store or maybe even ebay but regardless it is worth the $20 as Daisy stated.
OH!!! Don't forget your local library!!!!!
And keep in mind that if you weigh more, your snacks should be more calories. I was at the weight to have 300 calorie snacks twice a day and I just dropped into the 200 calorie snack range this week.
I got all of my info from these guys! I wish you luck. The first few days, it seems pretty ridiculous but you'd be surprised how quickly you go from not eating breakfast and routinely skipping lunch to looking forward to your mid-morning snack! Just be careful with the evening snacks- mine usually wiped out the calorie allowance when I started!
