I found them at the grocery store and bought a couple of the bars. I had the Chocolate and Peanutbutter Fudge bar for my afternoon snack. Not bad. They also had the shakes but they were almost $6 for a pack of 4, so I didn't get those.
Anyone else having any problems accessing this site? I guess with the new server there are still some kinks. It takes forever to load up for me.
I hope everyone is having a good day. I'm getting ready to go workout at Curves so I'll check in later.
Yes, he does mention them in his book, plus they are on his website if you want to view the available items. I did not know that they were out in the stores already. I must search this area to try a few.
I'm not sure Laurie and I don't have my book with me, but I will check. When I first saw the book, it was in early January and there were many copies in the book store out on the new book display. I do know that the cover is a pretty blue. It may just be new to that particular book store or to this area. Who knows?
I am thinking he must have a new edition out cause I have had my book over a y ear now and it says nothing about the products atleast nothing I recall reading. Let me klnow if you try any of the products! I would be interested in reading all the nutritional info on the products.
Our Walmarts are just starting to carry these. One of them has just bars. The other has bars and shakes. I have not found any of the meals, but they may be there.
I also like the bar I tried. The ones I purchased were chocolate with oats and almonds. They were good. Tasted like a very simple granola bar. With whole oats and almonds. No pasty taste. No peanut butter taste.
AND they were crunchy with enough texture that the 100 calorie bar was satisfying for a snack.
I purchased the coffee shake, but have not tried one yet. It says made with real coffee, not artificial flavor???? go figure.
Like most products of these kind, they were kind of pricey. BUT for periodic use or for "on the road" quick and easy portion control, they would be great.
Since most of my snacks are veggies and protein, these feel like a real treat for me.
If you go on Jorge's website, you can actually check out the nutritional information of his bars and shakes, etc... It's in the same area you would go to if you were to purchase them.
Yes, it's called "The 3-Hour Diet on the Go" I think it came out in October sometime...anyway that would probably be where he talks about them I would guess.
I don't remember seeing the products mentioned in the 3 Hour Diet on the Go book -- it's just about a little tiny purse size copy of his larger book with more info on fast food restaurants.
I tried the 100 calorie snack bar that I bought at my local Wal-Mart. But I didn't care for it very much. Plus I probably shouldn't have eaten it since it had oats.
All the rest of his products have gluten so I can't try them.
