Morning everyone! Can you believe February is almost over? Only 304 days until Christmas!! Started shopping yet?
We got new baby pictures yesterday and little Gabriel is adorable. He's so tiny. But he's in a regular crib now and he's totally off oxygen. He passed the test for sitting in the car seat. Now they just want to be sure he's feeding well and then he can go home -- they are hoping for early next week. Dad is perfectly OK with someone else changing diapers for a while. Mom is home and doing pretty well from the C-Section. She gets to drive short distances now.
Claire is going home today. She may have permanent hearing loss in her right ear. Right now, she can only stand for 40 seconds without blacking out. She has to use a wheelchair to get around. She may have to go back to school with an electric scooter. But they say it will get better. She was so funny - I asked her how she was doing and she's hungry. She's gone from 100 lbs to 85 lbs -- and she's 5'5"! She's pigging out on donuts and wants a Pizza Hut Popping Bites pizza for dinner tonight -- one all to herself. She said not only has she been eating hospital food for 3 weeks, but it's Army food to make it worse (she's in the Army hospital in Maryland).
I'm drinking the water today! I had blood drawn this morning to do my 6 month iron test so hopefully next week it will be normal still.
