I have been doing it since January 5th and i have lost 11 lbs. I think it is great. And i dont feel hungry at all during the day because im eating every 3 hours my only problem is night time snacking which Is basically just a habit. But ihave been doing pretty well.

You won't get hungry in between - and what I would recommend if you do is to avoid a carbohydrate snack and substitute a protein snack. The whole point is to keep your blood sugar stable - when you do that you will not get hungry. If you drink the recommended water, this also seems to help plus there are a few things you can have in between that are "freebies" if you must. Finally, you can try some tea - the warmth of the tea is great for making you feel satisfied.

Stick around! We'd love to have you!

I have been taking a while to get going, but I do love the plan. It is so flexible, and nothing is off limits. And this group is the best thing about it!

I love your kitty picture - that's a beautiful cat!

I'm down 7 lbs in 4 months, but I haven't been on plan faithfully. I like the flexibility, the fact that no foods are banned and that it's nutritious.

I am, however, also down about 10 inches in total in 4 months and 2 - almost 3 - sizes.

Believe me, this lifestyle does work. I started on July 31, 2004 and have lost over 60 pounds. The plan is very easy to follow and there's no calories to count! You just get used to it! If you eat every 3 hours as Jorge recommends, you won't be hungry. But I do suggest you make appropriate snack choices. If you're really hungry, and you only eat a small 2 piece kitkat, it won't get you very far as opposed to eating 3 cups of popcorn. It's all about making the right choices.

This is the first diet I have tried that is totally do-able. Nothing is off limits and if you get off track, come here for support and pick right back up! I am learning to eat differently and that is AWESOME! Welcome and good luck!

Awww, what a cute kitty!! The plan works and you won't get hungry in between. I'm going to take Daisy's advice and cut back on my carbs as I've been stalled for
awhile and I think that might be the problem.

I think people are probably tired of hearing the phrase "protein snack" from me, LOL... at minimum - try not to eat carbs alone - couple them with protein... This seemed to have helped Melissa a bit - she was stuck and then replaced her afternoon snack with a protein snack and subsequently lost...

I don't know - it just seems to make sense. Worth a shot to get past a stall, IMO...

Yes the plan does work. Important to follow the 3 hour timing and as Daisy says "protein snack". When I snack on anything but protein, I get hungry within 1-1/2 to 2 hrs. I lost 20 pounds over the spring and then fell off the plan and gained some weight back. I am trying to get myself back on track and this group is so wonderful about being supportive and give great feedback. My biggest hurdle right now is water - it tasted horrible when I was on chemo and now I almost have to flavor it to get it down.

Stick with us - you'll be losing before you know it!!

My personal trainer who has a perfect body and looks amazing in whatever she wears recommendeds the following snacks:

Apple spread with peanut butter or with a string cheese

Hummus with a toasted pita

A serving of jerky with sliced strawberries

2 rice cakes spread with almond or cashew butter (I add a tsp of frosting to it as well)

1 oz cheddar cheese cubes and a cup of grapes

Cottage cheese and sliced frozen peaches

Popcorn sprinkled with a little bit of parmesan cheese

Yogurt

A slice of turkey wrapped around an aspargus spear

Celery spread with fat free cream cheese or peanut butter
