Hi all. I started my Slim in 6 workout on Monday, did the first one which is 25 min, then rode my bike for 20min. Went back to work yesterday and surely can feel it today. I haven't worked since right before Thanksgiving. I'm a subcontractor for dh's building company. I brush coat (like a white wash) the basements of the houses and condos they build. And I've been waiting for heat and electricity. So I did a house yesterday, took me 7hrs, including cleaning my stuff. My whole body,especially my thighs and shoulders, is real sore today. So I didn't workout today, except stretching exercises through out the day. I will do my Slim in 6 in the a.m. and go to Curves in the p.m. tomorrow. Friday I do another house. Then my schedule will be 3 a wk, probably M,W,F. I want to get to where I do some type of workout, probably a yoga one, after I'm done with work. I think it will help the muscle soreness.
Okay I'm going to go catch up on the other threads before bed. |
Today was 35 minutes elliptical, 20 minutes treadmill and 20 minutes of leg extension, leg curl, inner & outer thighs, calves and ab crunches on the ball.
I got up to 3 sets of 20 reps each on the ab crunches. |

55 minutes treadmill at between 2.5 and 2.7 mph with a random incline program.
15 minutes strength training with triceps, biceps, and both bench ab crunches and ball ab crunches. |
So how is everyone doing this week? Since I have been sick, I have done pretty crappy with the exercise part, but I am feeling better and will be back and at it it soon!

I have walked 2 times each day at work (about 15 min. brisk walk), even on the cold windy day, and I've been trying to do JC 8 min. workout in the morning. 8 min. never seemed so long until the 2nd day of that workout.

so far I have spent 1 hr on the treadmill need another 90 minutes to meet my january goal!!!

Today was 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer and I moved the resistance level up to 2. Plus 15 minutes on the treadmill at 2.6 mph with an incline aerobic program.
Then 4 sets of 20 reps at 50 lbs each on the leg curl and leg extension machine. 3 sets of 15 reps at 10 lbs shoulder press. 3 sets of 12 reps at 10 lbs chest press. 3 sets of 20 reps ball ab crunches. |
Yesterday I did my 30 minutes cardio and upper body workout. Today I plan to do the same except with lower body!
