Default South Beach Diet sandwiches

Have you guys tried the SB sandwiches? The bread grills in the microwave and they are delicious. Will they work with this plan? If so, how would you count it.

I am editing this post because these sandwiches that I am talking about are not South Beach. I don't know why I posted that, they are actually Lean C.
Sorry!!

The bread would be carb (I would have to look at the portion size to be for sure), if there's meat it would be the protein................it all depends on what it has on it.

They all vary. The one that I have had has steak, cheese, and onions. The total cal for the whole sandwich is 320 cals.

That is definitely what I am going to do, because they are very good. Next question is the fat. How do I judge the fat? I need to know whether to add a fat or assume that the fat has been taken care of in the sandwich.

Well the way I look at things, when ever in doubt leave it out!! Don't add extra fat unless you are 100% sure there is no fat in it.

Are you talking about the label on the food where it tells you have much fat is in a serving? I just want to make sure I get this right.

The So. Beach diet wraps are also good and have sugar free jello with them. About 240calories so you could add some protein and salad & veggie. They are very good.

Well - look at how many fat grams there are. More than 5 is too many. 4 is slightly more than recommended - if it is fat free you will need to add the fat...

Remember that every gram of fat is 9 calories. I think it is 40 fat calories we should have at each meal - so... that is where I am coming from. That is how I have been figuring... maybe I am way off base though - I don't know.

your right about the fat, the one I eat is ceaser where you add the dressing, I only use 1/2 or a 1/3 of it so I feel it is ok once in awhile....it is something different and easy to take to work. I'll watch my weight the next time I eat one and see if it does anything.

Thanks for the info....Phyllis
