Default I am so proud of myself!!!

Was cooking dinner, did some bratworst, mash taters, asparagus and some beans for the kids. One thing you have to understand here is that I LOVE instant mash taters. I could turn down real mash taters but I love some instant! The ones tonight I cooked were instant and you can use all water if you like or add milk to save on calories. While I was mixing them up, my taste buds were just a watering!!! I fixed me 1/4th cup of them with Molly McButter, fixed the kids some with real butter added, I thought to myself oh one bowl full won't hurt me of the ones with real butter!! So I fixed a bowl, grabbed a spoon and went and sat down, my mouth was just a watering. Then you guys popped into my head, all I could see was having to face you guys so I stood up and went and threw the entire bowl of taters away, that was after I fixed the kids theirs and I had already had my 1/4th cup. I am so proud of myself that I didnt' eat a single bite of those taters with the real butter, imagine all that fat in that butter and how added calories I could have sabotaged myself with over some instant mash taters!!! So my meal consisted of a brat, some asparagus and 1/4 th cup instant taters seasoned with Molly McButter and NOT the entire bowl of taters the way I REALLY wanted to do!!! LOL!

I am so proud of myself today has been almost perfect day!! Gotta get about 40 more ounces of water in for it to be a perfect day!!!!!! GULP GULP GULP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I even went for a 30 minute walk today!!

Way to go! Three cheers!!!

I have the same addiction! It's good to know recovery is possible! Ever try I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray? That works well, too.

Good for you Laurie - I lived on instant mashed potates with lots of butter and sour cream when I was going through chemo. Believe me, I am having a time of getting this fat off my waist - so not worth it!!!

PLease raise your right hand, turn your hand to face behind you, bend at the elbow and give yourself a nice big pat on the back!

YAY you!
