Default My Trainer is gone......

He is gone for the rest of the week and won't be back till Sunday!

He has a trip to Vegas for Life Fitness ads. All expenses paid and all! Plus he only has to do 2 days of photo shoots. Must be a ruff job!

He says when he come back from Vegas that we are hitting the training full force. We havn't trained since before Christmas and I am really missing it.

Anyone that is up to par w/ his sister. She hasn't past away. She is still in the hospital though. Very serious condition.

Here is something he told me. Machines over free weights help control the movement and guide it in the exact position/motion that you should be moving in. So if you have a choice pick the machines.

Yeah - but machines are by FAR less accessible to the common folk.

Well, I am doing something right at the place I joined Workout Express that is all it is, machines.

Yes, unless you join someplace the machines are out of the question, do you have a local Y that has a workout room? Our hospitals run fitness places that aren't real expensive and Curves is also great.

But the 8mm exercises are good ones, just watch your posture and you have to put effort into them or they won't work.

Watch out Dani, sounds like your in for it when he returns. lol

I hope so I am ready to be transformed into a Swan!!!! I miss him, he really motivates me.

My Dh was getting jealous of the time I was spending away from home. And last night he didn't come home for 3 hours after he got off of work. Now he knows how it is for time to fly by without noticing. I was a little mad but didn't say anything. Because if I stay out late I don't want him to get on my case either.

See - I just appreciate a phone call. I have the kind of imagination that will turn something like that into a "OMG - what if he is laying dead in a subway station" or something like that and it takes every effort for me not to come completely undone... I think this is called awfulization and I battle it all the time. Dh is very considerate and will call me if he will be home later than 6:30... just so I am not freaking.

Yeah I did the awfulvisual thing last night. DH called at 6:30pm said he was picking up the trailer from his moms ( 15 min drive) and would be right home. 3 hours later....... I called his cell and he said hello. I was very rude I said, I just called to make sure he wasn't dead and hung up! He was home within 30 min. With a cold dinner sitting on the table and kids in bed and me in bed too. He knew I was mad without saying anything else.

Yeah - I know. Except that I don't get mad - I come undone. Well - I don't now... but it takes all my energy not to... One time he was an hour and a half late - it was a server crash - right as he was walking out the door - he started on it thinking it would only take him 10 minutes - instead it took him more thanan hour... By the time he got home my eyes were bloodshot and swollen and I was shaking - had thrown up... Every since then - he calls.

It really is a special kind of madness - but I do a pretty good job of keeping it under my thumb now. It is a deep fear of abandonment... long story.

my husband is very good about calling because he knows that when my first husband was killed in an accident I sat by the phone until 4 in the morning before I could get some help to look for him....didn't find out until 7 a.m. That was the longest night of my life.....so I think men should call us when they are late and we should do the same, it's just so easy now with cell phones, no excuses. Then no one has to worry.
