Default How many of you *newer* members have YIM!?!?
Awhile back I convinced some of the other members to install YIM and we use to get together regularly through the YIM chatroom of our own and chit chat. We had a blast!! WE would do one morning/afternoon chat for those that could make it and then we would have one evening one for those who work and couldn't make the afternoon one. Also, YIM is a great way to get some immediate support and chit chat with others directly when and if you need or want to. So do any of you have it?!?!?

Laurie should we post the info here??? You don't know who is going to see it?
I get enough strange stuff as it is. I would be happy to share mine with everyone in our group. Do you think this is safe here or maybe PM.??? What do ya think???

You have the option of allow people to see you online and if you don't give them persmission they can't add you to their buddy list, I am not really worried about others getting my YIM name because I know I can block them. Its all a personal preference.

Plus under our Pictures is a RED Y with a ! that is our Yahoo messenger too. All they have to do is click the red Y and they can send you a message.

Actually I got rid of AOL and now only use AIM so if someone wants to find me they can always find me either by YIM or AIM

I have YIM - but I am never on IM unless I know someone is looking for me...

Great to hear that YIM is promoted. It is a wonderful way of communicating. I have a group setup for my buddies from this group - and it is easy to see when somebody is online - and not in the process of either shopping or working hehe.... Just haul me into a conversation whenever I am available.... would love it....
By the way, it is cold here in SC today... did I mention that I am a 'warm weather' gal...... my fingers are frozen.... I sit wrapped in a blanket like when bundled up for driving in a snow sleigh......

Here's a suggestion to all of you- imici.com has free download to allow you to talk to anyone on IM, regardless of provider. It works with MSN, Yahoo and AOL. It's pretty cool. I'll be adding you soon!
