Default Serenity's Birthday

Today is Serenity's (Karen J's) birthday. I don't think she will have the time to come back to post with us, but you never know.

Donna,

I doubt that Karen will check in here. If you want to wish her a Happy Birthday, you'd need to email to her email address - in our JC Address Book.

I will. Her mother had another stroke & Karen is the main caretaker. Also, she got a job in Philly & leaves at 7 AM and gets home at 7 PM. Between work, her pets (2 cats and 2 dogs) and her mother, she doesn't have much time for anything else.

I just sent her a Happy Bday greeting! Hope she has a great birthday. Speaking of Karen, have you been noodling lately?

No. I gave up my gym membership when Karen went back to work. I've been pretty crippled up lately. Seems that when I fell off the scale, it triggered some osteo-arthritis in my hip. Helping to transfer Donald from wheelchair to bed doesn't help it. I limp a lot these days. Friday, I'm going to get a shot of cortisone in my hip. Maybe after that, I'll be able to get back to exercising.

I hope your hip feels better soon! Ya might need it to either run after the whip or run from it!

Oh my, I don't know how Karen does it. I will send her a note via email and a card - I just love to get cards. The cards you and Jessica make are so beautiful - I have saved everyone!!

I hope your hip gets to feeling better soon. Ask the doc if walking would be good for you to do. Sometimes you just have to listen to your body and do what you can do - learned that one the hard way!!
