I was once told to think about flour foods as glue for your intestines because your body doesn't digest it and it just sticks itself to your intestines and insides and so that can add pounds to you.
Laurie, I had to make the switch to white flour foods because of my kidneys, the white flour foods are lower in phosphates. I did get a loaf of diet wheat bread this week, I miss it. But otherwise I try to stick to the JC plan.
