Question How ya doing with the water intake????

I am doing lousey So I thought that might be a good question and reminder for all of us.

I am trying to get it back up to the 8 glasses a day and then I'll add on more.
Probably doing about 6 glasses a day so I'm getting close

We all know how important the water is in any diet that we are on and I am actually missing drinking all mine now....never thought I'd say that!

Just a thought....getting us ready for a New Year challenge....I've got to get back on track.

Hi Phyllis,

My water intake sucks! I keep trying to get it in but I never manage to get the full 8 glasses a day. Plus more? Forget it! I keep trying, though...

My water intake is down as well. I think cause the water is cold and it is COLD outside and inside too what with the antisipated gas price increase!!!!
I don't want to drink anything but coffee and tea which is a big no no!!! I guess I should try to drink warm water but it doesn't sound all that apealing to me.

I have been doing okay. When I work I drink more water. I buy a new water bottle whenever i feel myself slacking on the intake. Then its so fun to have a new one I want to use it more. PlusI have to justify whyI bought the thing. So I carry it with me. I used to have a HUGE water bottle, but the water would get warm and I wouldn't drink as much and when it was gone I wouldn't want to fill it up because I remember how long it took to actually drink that much in the first place.

So mine is now a "normal" size. And I fill it up 3-4 times a day.

Weekends come and I don't drink as much and my weight starts to climb back up. So I have come to the point where this weekend I am actually going to drink out of my water bottle too.

Good luck everyone. Hope this helps with increasing your water as well.

I read that you are to drink your water as cold as possible, the body has to burn up more calories to process it.....something like that. But I was also told to drink ice water at the diet center I had spent a fortune on too.

You can make it 1/2 juice according to JC or if you like put lemon, orange, berries, cucumber (Dani's favorite) to change it. I really just like it plain and cold and I try to drink all mine before 4 p.m. so I am not up all night going to the bathroom!!!! lol

I have been doing good on water. This week I have drank over a gallon everyday. WOW! I just realized that when I checked my journal! Cool! I prefer mine at room temp. I don't care for ice water unless it's hot outside Have a great day everyone!
