Biggest Loser Weekly Thread - Wk. of Oct. 9th

Noticed there wasn't one yet~
I had such a wonderful time at the coast! Very relaxing. Was WAY off plan but I'll just have to really focus this week. Getting back on track with cardio and timing and all. I hope everyone is having a great week so far. You all are doing awesome! I am looking forward to getting to know all the new people! Our little group is growing! :) Good luck all and have a wonderful day!

Hi Donna,

I guess you started a weekly thread. I was just going to start a daily one so I will post here instead!

I have been doing pretty well OP. Only my water is slacking but food is in check as is my exercise. I have been mostly focusing on cardio lately but will add weights back in. It is soooo hard for me to find the time to do it all!

How is everyone else doing?? Exercising? OP?

Donna so glad you had a good time on your get away!!! We all need those once in awhile and especially with no children...you'll lose for sure this week.

My exercise is doing my treadmill as long as I can everyother day and walking in the evenings everynight...need to up both of them but I am doing better than I have in a long time with this new commitment. :)

Ok, everyone in the Challenge needs to post in this thread once this week to stay eligible.....everyone still hasn't weighed in....I'll wait one more day and then post to all who need to WI.

Anita you are getting back on track quickly after your trip....congrats! :)

Hi Donna
I have been doing good so far drinking that dredded water yuck and staying on my 3 hr. diet and really starting to like it because I see daily changes on the scale. Doing my walking usually over an hour a day and I am doing my 8 minutes in the morning.
So far so good

Happy Wednesday, All!

Good job on staying OP, Rose! :)

I was totally OP yesterday--until last night after dinner. Instead of my treat size portion, I ended up consuming DOUBLE :(:( However, the scale showed another 1 lb loss anyway!! Go figure!

Our bodies are such complex vehicles.....

Hi all I have been off and on plan. And I did my cardio last night and some leg weight machines. I am still "stuck" in my platue. It seems I can't bust through the 155 mark. ugh!

ABWorldly 10-12-2005 10:11 AM

Hi Dani,

Don't worry. Keep going and it will eventually come off!!!! Maybe do a different cardio or a bit more intense? Whatever you do, don't quit. That is the worst!!! Then you will really be depressed when you start to gain again!!

Hi all,
Just checking in but nothing to report! My company left, my kids are on fall break and I have some kind of weird cold sickness going on that leaves me no desire to eat....except chocolate since i am pmsing as well! I am still working on trying to make up a spread sheet of allowable foods but have been less than motivated..maybe next week while my boys are back in school and it is just my daughter and I. I guess i will take this week to do the daily menu planning for this program. Thanks for listening.
Kristy

I hope you feel better soon Kristy!

I am doing horrible staying OP. I had mexican for lunch today so I am sure that will help a lot. I think I think in the back of mind this isn't going to work so I am not giving it 100%. The only time I have ever really been able to lose weight is when we went to the gym 4 nights a week. Then I could eat whatever I wanted and still lost weight. Oh well, tomorrow is a new day......thank goodness.

ABWorldly 10-13-2005 10:13 PM

Heidi,

Aren't you pregnant? I thought for sure you were the one who said you had just found out. Well...of course you won't lose weight right now!!!!! Sorry if I mixed you up with someone else...

GonnaLoozIt 10-13-2005 10:23 PM

Hi Anita, yeah it's me..... I am not concerned about losing weight on the scale but just feeling "fluffy" lol. ven being pregnant I think I can tone up some and just feel healthier. :0) Tomorrow we are going grocery shopping and I am looking forward to having some healthy food in the house. :0)

It was hard for me to do the plan correctly the first time. I just half way did the plan for 3 months and then gained more weight. I rededicated myself and it has finally clicked with me once I got the 3 hr. timing down and learned to carry my water everywhere with me.

Don't give up...we all have bad days and even bad weeks but give this diet a chance. I too have been on every diet there is I believe but this one is one of the healthiest around and you get to eat every 3 hrs.

Also now that I have gotten off my rear-end and doing some walking and a little treadmill it really seems to be helping me.

Don't forget WI on Sunday for the Challenge....I will then figure out who is still in the challenge and post the results to that point.

Have a great week-end everyone.....Phyllis
