Everyone sleep well this morning?

Anyone talked to Karen lately? I haven't seen her post much lately! She must be busy too! Also, Karen can you answer something for me, when it comes to the turkey bacon and because it has so few calories and fat content, I was told that 3 slices is 1 protein, what were you told?

Lynn, hope you are doing well and you are getting all those papers graded!

Nikki, hope all is going well over there in LA, well as well as can be expected!

Vicki, sorry I keep missing you on YIM! I some how found a busy new life and haven't been on much!

Well today is Keilyn's first day of preschool. I think I am going to cry! She is growing up way too fast!!! I am going to run a few errands while she is in preschool this morning so this will give me some time to myself to get what I need done.

How is everyone else doing this week? I stepped on the scale and I am down 3lbs so far so hopefully I can keep them off until Sunday, WI day!

pretty soon it won't be long till i'm sending my lil zack off to pre school, he's 8months old today, where does the time go, i felt like i was going to be pregnant forever and now i wish time would stand still, he's almost walking he'll walk with the aid of hold the couch or our german shepherd or the coffee table.


i'm having a great day, we're finally getting some rain, i'm going to relax a lil today did tons of house work yesterday.

Hi Laurie!

Congrats on the three pounds! Sounds like a mixed emotion day for you with the little one going off to school and all that.

I bought a new scale--a dial one this time. I was getting frustrated with the digital varying so much. A good old analog scale will work just fine, thanks! I compared the two scales and they matched, so luckily I won't have to adjust my number! (Unfortunately I haven't lost anything yet this week, but Idont expect to.)

Good Morning all!!

I have felt that you all are a morning bunch of early birds!!! I start work at 7am ish...so today I thought I would sneek in and check ya all out...This way I feel more a part of you.

Laurie...I have to learn to turn down my volume...the other day you signed out of YIM and the door slammed so loud I almost fell off my seat!!! LOL sorry if I caught you at a bad time.\

I have gained a pound but I know why...haven't wanted to eat right. I had pretzels and PB for dinner last night!!! (I think it was a better choice than the fish sticks I gave the kids though) YIKES I have got to straighten myself out!!!

I think it is great you all can keep on track with all the little kids you guys have. Mine aren't that little but still keep me running!!! (8, 11, and 12)

Anyway, gotta run will check in later!!!

Laurie - that is awesome about the weight loss. I know what you mean about sending the little ones off to school - I cried every time. Of course, so did they. When I went to pick them up they were all smiles and couldn't wait for the next day - so it was all worth it. Have a good day.

I am having a horrible day - the steroids have just about worn me out with this chemo and I have the worst case of heartburn I have ever had in my life. I thought I was having a heart attack driving to work this morning. Took a Pepcid and it is getting better. Really scary though!! I can't even bear the thought of food right now so I am drinking my tea and sucking on hard candy. Don't want that heartburn back.

Hi Everyone,

Today, the Culligan Man is installing a water filter for me. No more yucky water - I will be able to get delicious water right out of my kitchen faucet!

Last night I went to a Bodylove workshop with my SIL. It was VERY interesting. First identify the part of my body I dislike most. Then, get ready to accept that part - dialog and affirmations. Then, engage in positive self-talk vs. negative self-talk.

It was nice to be back in a course/workshop. I had forgotten how much I enjoy that.

No aid today, so we'll be at home. Hopefully, I can get those !@#$%$%^^&&** papers finished.

Good morning everyone! I can relate Laurie~my Brynna starts preschool today too. It isn't getting any easier with each kid. They grow up too fast! Eva is LOVING kindergarten. Now she can't wait til next year so she can go everyday.
I think I have bronchitis! I used to have it chronically in high school but it's been quite awhile since I've had it. I did 20 minutes on the elliptical and my chest hurt so bad I figured I better quit or pass out - and I didn't feel like passing out Finally got a good night sleep for the first time this week. it has been crazy! WI on hump day - up 1.5 lbs. Gotta flush it out! WRONG direction!

CONGRATS Laurie on those 3 lbs! You Rock girl!!!!! WOOOOHOOOO! Doing a little jig for you!

Vicki-I've done the same thing! When the volume is up on the computer. Enough to give you a heart attack!

Lynn-I agree with Laurie - give 'em all A's and call it good YAY for good water!

Teri-Hang in there hon! It will get better and you are doing great. Think about and pray for you often.
