Good morning all! I figured I'd start a new post since one hasn't been made in a while. I miss everyone here. I was expecting the boards to pick up after school started not dwindle out. I come here and there are no new posts so I dont write anything- I just log out. Anyone else doing that too? I think we need to re- group and bond back up again. Come on ladies. Come out come out where ever you are!

Hi Dani,

I am still around. I was busy over the holiday weekend but I am back!!!! I also wish everyone would at least come post once a day. The group was so great! Everyone is so nice. Even if we sts or gain it would be nice to just check in! I really enjoyed meeting you all on this journey.

Wendy - SO glad you posted. There IS someone out there! LOL!!!! We need to at least post a check in and let everyone know we are hear and how our goals are going and what we need support on.

I'm here too... and I really miss you guys. We've just been so busy. Today was the first day back to school officially with kids and everything, and I am so totally exhausted. I made the mistake of telling a fried that I'd go be her face model for Mary Kay tranining tonight.... and I wish I could just sleep instead!

I'm still around. Gained the five pounds back I lost the first week of chemo. All I want to do is eat. I am trying to stay on plan, but somedays the cravings just get to me. I know I shoudn't be worrying about gaining weight right now, but I do not want to gain back the 17 pounds I have lost. I have another chemo treatment next Tuesday the 13th, so I am sure that week will be harder to eat. Food tastes horrible that first week because of the metallic taste in my mouth. I have to force myself to eat then. So I guess when I am feeling good and food is tasting so good, I just eat, eat, eat

I had my head shaved Friday to 1/4 in. Yesterday the rest of my hair (body hair and all) started falling out. You should have seen my husband's face when he came home - he always rubs the dog's head and then he came up and rubbed my head - and hair went everywhere It was hysterical. Now he has to vacuum up after me and the dog I do have my wig and it looks so much like my real hair. I will have to download a picture - probably will have to forward it to Laurie first I have cut my shower time down to 10 minutes - I don't have to wash and condition my hair and I don't have to shave anything - even lost the hair down south, if you know what I mean There is some freedom in being bald. I only wear my wig when I am out in public - once home, off it goes. The kids & DH don't seem to mind and it feels so good.

I really miss everyone, too!! I wish we could get back to the way it was. I know everyone is busy - so am I. Some days it is all I can do to get to work. But I am keeping up with you all - and I will post more. I just don't want to bore you to tears with this bc thing.

Teri: You're in my thoughts as you go through this....there's a gal that posts on the 100 pound club that had chemo as well....she's now cancer free and doing great! I know you'll be the same!

Hi ladies..I am around...I have chosen to join WW so I didn't think I really belonged here...I joined with a girl at work and we go to weigh in together. I just joined 1 week and a half ago...but was out of town for my weigh in. I just need some more accountability with the weigh in and all. Anyway..I check in daily to see how everyone is doing.

Teri - I am glad you are feeling better and can eat. You probably should eat when you feel good- next week sounds like you'll loose again. If you need anything please let me know. you are still in my prayers.
