I want to share with you all about my NSV yesterday. DH, DD and DD's best friend and I all went out to dinner. The girls wanted to go to Olive Garden but I knew I couldn't handle that place because of the bread sticks - I just can't stop at one. So we went to a local restaurant here in the "burg" called Atria's. I planned on one dinner roll (they are small but homemade and delicious) and when the server asked if she should bring another basket, I said no. I had the crab cake sandwich but removed the bun and asked for a chopped salad (mixed very lightly w/ dressing) in place of the fries and cole slaw. I drank 2 big glasses of water. Very happy that I stayed on plan and enjoyed my one small crab cake tremendously. We all came home and everyone but me has some of DH's birthday ice cream pie. I passed because I had 1/16th of a 9" pie at 4 pm for my snack. I wasn't deprived because I worked it into the plan (well not entirely as I have no way of knowing how many calories were in my piece and I am sure it was over 100). So I am very happy about my choices yesterday. And I was so satisfied with my meal choices that I can't wait to go back and have that crab cake and chopped salad again. It's great finding a restuarant where you can find food that are OP and satisfying. I get tired or always ordering the chicken salad. I felt like I had a real treat last night.

Off to walk and do some strength training. Have a good day everyone.

Laurie its totally okay to skip a WI, I could've skipped last weeks WI and I would've been happy- TOM thing. I gained three #'s! It took all week to get those 3 #'s gone but I did it - I am now at 159.8 Cant wait to be back at 158, and go down again from there! Its whatever makes you feel the best. I know Tom is rough for us ladies dieting. It makes us feel as if we go up and down on the scale and that can be frustrating.

I think you did AWESOME Karen!!!! Will power at restaurants is very difficult for me! You are an inspiration to me. I will plan my meal when Im at a resaurant to be OP and same if I eat at others homes.

Today Im going to my mothers Birthday Party. And I am suppossed to make the cake. I actually volunteered because if someone else makes it I want to have some to see how good they did ( I love to bake- especially cakes) and if I make it I dont necessarily need a piece becuase - I am too cocky for my own good. My cakes are fabulous. So I volunteered. I am planning on having a tiny teeny weeeeny piece - and no snack after dinner. I normally dont have a "treat" anyways. So I will indulge. But with WI tomorrow an WI did so good losing the weight from, I definatly do not want any of that creeping back!

Have a good day all!

Hi everyone,

I did ok yesterday -- but not great. We went out for dinner and I ate a bit more than I should have. But the food was good and healthy -- just a bit too much of it. I have to be extra good today.
