Default FINALLY! I got my book today!!! Can't wait to read & get started! :)

I am so excited! I FINALLY got my book in the mail today!! From what I can see from browsing through it quickly you are not restricted really from any foods!! It appears like this plan will be easier to succeed and better to make a lifestyle from! Now, I have not really read anything... just browsed, but so far it looks easy and promising! I can't wait to get going on it! I just need to read a little first.. which I plan on doing some today!

I have already started (last week) eating several small meals each day! I do have to admit that I have felt better during those days too! My weigh in today was not as bas as last weeks either!! So there may just be something to this plan! Again, I have not read the book yet though lol. So I am sure I am not doing it completely. But I will once I read some.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know that is FINALLY got my book!!!! I feel like I have been waiting forever! Sheesh it took 10 days to get it!!! Maybe because I ordered several different books lol.

Ok... I gotta get reading!! This way I can get my metabolism moving faster and sooner so I can see some results soon!

WOW!! That is an awesome loss already! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

8MM??? Which book is that? I noticed tons of 8 minute workout books by him. I couldn't figure out which one I should buy lol.

I bought 7 books in the past 3 weeks lol. (Body For Life, Eating For Life, Body For Life For Women, Curves, Total Body Make-over, The 3 Hour Diet, and a vitimen book!) Yes, I am a book-aholic lol. I want all info. so I can learn and make a difference in my health. My metabolism is really bad... so all info. helps lol.

I agree the books are cheaper online! We only have one bookstore near us and it is like 45 minutes away! Plus that store charges FULL price!! I can get books from www.amazon.com and www.overstock.com and my bookclub online for much cheaper! I do most (99.9%) of my shopping (other then grocery shopping lol) online! It is easier and cheaper.

Congratulations on getting the book! Have fun reading it. I do think this is a very doable plan! I have the 8mm book (the one with easier excercises). I bought that one because it had some good info on emotional eating. I think the books are all very similar, though.

Hi Tracy,

Check out this book too:
"Thin Commandments Diet The 10 No-Fail Strategies For Permanent Weight Loss." By Stephen Gullo, Ph.D.

I've not quite figured out his diet-and if any one has, please talk to me because it seems interesting. I'm just not one to follow pre-made menus at all. I want a list of foods to eat and foods to avoid, that's why South Beach has been so good for me <Ducking> no, honestly I'm not trying to convert anyone.

I posted a review/excerpts on a different thread I really liked the book that much- and once one of the mods sees it they'll probably delete it because it might be just a tad too much of an excerpt so quick go print it out before she sees it.

Are you going to do the Body for Life challenge? I've been thinking about it.

Shanna................ sounds like an awesome book! I may have to order that one the next time my hubby is not looking lol.

Once he see's how many books I have ordered in the past 3 weeks I may be in some trouble hahahaha. NOT! LOl.

Thanks for the info!

Sarah........ I have seen and heard about the thin commandments! Never checked into it though. I might have to check that out to. I am to addicted to reading lol. I will see if I can check out the link you sent to. I did notice a few food lists in Jorge's 3 Hr. Diet book!! Just as much of a list as SBD except more!!! If that helps. I did SBD... but I have to many medical issues from it now. I just got my books for Body For Life. I have not had a chance to check them out yet. But I plan on doing that soon too. I got the first book, cookbook, and the book for women. All had good ratings.
