I know...I know...I can hear it now.....you are all trying to figure out who this stranger is.....its me.....you know.....Becca....remember?The one with all the issues...you know....the sometimes funny whiney one...yup....thats right...I see the light of recognition in those eyes!!!!
First of all.......I miss you guys sooooooooo much!Its been a rough couple weeks for me and things just have a way of becoming chaotic in my life over-nite!So...all I'm going to do right now is catch you alol up on whats been going on in my life..and then hopefully sometime later in the day(its late Tuesday,early Wednesday depending on jow you look at things)I will be able to catch up with all of you.I know it sounds EXTREMELY selfish of me to just talk about ME now and not catch up but...well...I REALLY need to vent!
Big news.....drumroll please.....Mark and I are BOTH officially non-smokers....so I'm hoping that I can get back to being on-line more now that I feel comfortable enough.I am very proud of Mark...this was SUPER hard on him.O.k....what else....oh yeah...still having some trouble with the breathing and all...bronchitis is lingering but DR said to expect as much what with the healing process of my lungs and all.I am being a very good girl and taking my medicine and using my inhaler.Of course the weather here in S.W PA has NOT helped at all...I really think I need to grow some gills!
Now....guess what?MORE DRAMA!Oh boy....well...one of the other reasons I have not been around is that my Great-Uncle passed away on Mackeys birthday,he is my Grandpaps baby brother and we were all VERY shocked at his passing.I was shocked to realize that he was 85...I thought he was only 70,but...Uncle Carl himself always said that the Mackeys had" Alien " blood and thats how come they age so well.My Pap is 90 and his oldest sister is 98 and going strong....I swear she wore me out last night at the funeral home dragging me around re-introducing us all!Tomorrow..well actually today is the funeral....I have to get up in about 6 hours to start getting things together and so on....I must be nuts being on here..but I wouldn't be able to sleep anyway.Considering the fact that I am afraid to go upstairs...I'm really trying to avoid a confrontation with DH....you see......my sister and her miserable excuse for a husband just left....and they left their dog and TWO,yes TWO Guinea Pigs behind.Oh and did I mention...ONE of them MAY be PREGNANT??Oh boy.....I knew about the dog....I kinda even told Mark about that before they dropped him off.I say kinda because I DID tell him Leesa asked me to dog-sit...but I DIDN'T tell him its going to be for 2 weeks possibly....I had my reasons though....honest I did....he hadn't asked how long it was for so I just OMITTED that part.He wasn't too thrilled when I told him Leesa had asked me in the first place,being that Angela and Jason decided to stay away longer than they said and I was dog-sitting for them until just this Sunday.......so I couldn't go ahead and tell him it might be awhile.The truth is...you NEVER know with my sister anyway....like consider the Guinea Pigs.....I was as shocked as Mark was when my nephew came walking in the door carrying this HUGE cage with 2 furry things in it!Leesa told me she was going to ask Michele to PIG sit...and when I talked to Michele she said Leesa hadn't called so I figured she left them with my nephews friend....WRONGO!I couldn't NOT take them though...I could tell by my sisters body language and tone that she was going to get "HECK" from the deadbeat for not calling Michele.I know how hard it is for her...she does EVERYTHING...and they JUST got back from my Moms in FL a day ago....then she had to un-pack and re-pack....and well...you name it...HE does nothing but bark orders...she does all the driving too...she looked EXHAUSTED....well....at least from what she says they are only going to be here for a day or so before they head to New York to visit his family.Hopefully I can talk Michele into sharing the PIG sitting responsibilities!UGH!!!!!!On top of EVERYTHING else.....I am UP 3 pounds....4 if you count the one that has been stalking me!!!!!NOW I have all this OTHER crap going on...speaking of which...the dog needs to go out so I guess I better go...yikes....here it is nearly one A.M and I have to take a dog for a walk.....!

If I were closer, I would come and take the pigs for you - my cat would love to play with them. Sorry about your great uncle. Congratulations for quitting the evil weed & gaining only 4 lbs. I gained much more when I quit.

Good for you and dh to quit smoking, we quit about 15 yrs. ago...........we both gained weight for awhile....but not for long. Your body is going thru a lot right now quitting and the bronchitis.....don't beat yourself up....your doing GREAT.

Sorry about your Uncle passing, it is always a shock to lose a loved one and that is a lot of stress right there.

Wow, that is a lot of animals to sit for 2 wks., I think my dh might be upset over that too. But nice you can help Sis out....sorry she has such a stinker of a dh. Good she has you around.

Take care and try not to be too stressed out......you don't want those Shingles back!!

I am so glad you took the time to post! I was wondering what happened to you. Congratulations on being a non-smoker!!!!!!!! That is awesome. And, congrats to Mark too!

Becca, Becca, Becca - am I going to have to drive to PA to keep you in check?? I can you know - I am home and I am bored. I am so proud of you and Marc for quitting smoking - that is a very hard thing to do!! I know, I have been there. And, I am so sorry to hear about your Great-Uncle. You have certainly been going through a lot lately!!

As for dog/guinea pig sitting and DH - I always say it is easier to ask forgiveness than pemission!!hehe

It sounds like your sister needs to leave her DH on the side of the road somewhere.

Thanks for taking the time to post..been thinking about you and all your stressful situations going on...so sorry to hear bout your Great Uncle...sounds like he lived a long full life, at least??!! So proud of you and your DH...still smoke free...and dont even worry bout the lbs....they will come off soon enough...your life sounds so crazy right now...take some ME time!! wink wink!!
