Howdy everyone - I'm back . I got home yesterday morning and would have been on line yesterday, but DH made me take pain pills , which may make me say silly things (imagine that) and so I couldn't get online .

First of all - a BIG THANK YOU- you guys are so awesome ! The basket you sent me is incredible. Let me see, I have bath gel, bath lotion and bath beads - yea!!! I also have this awesome tea (I have only been able to find this tea at starbucks) - cookies and candies (they must be OP, right) ? As well as lots more goodies and a beautiful container, which my mom (she is a florist) is taking to make a beautiful silk flower arrangement in to remind me of you guys and this experience. I told her to make sure they contain daisies !!!

The surgery went well and I was in and out of it all day Tuesday . You don't get much rest in a hospital so I was glad to be released early (6:30 am) on Wednesday morning. I got home at 9:30. All is well - I am healing. I have two drain tubes hanging out of my side ("gross" , my son says). I have to drain them twice daily and that is a pain in the butt. But, I have no pain and a couple of bandages where breast used to be. Pretty wierd . The doctor called me today with result of lymph node biopsy (she took 10) and they were all clear. However, my breast was full of cancer - but, she got it all . She said there would have been no way to save breast, even it I wanted to. Which I didn't - ready for right one to go now .

Anyway, I am bored and couldn't wait to get online and chat . What has been going on - I have lots of reading to do!! I have been getting flower deliveries all day and everyone has been so awesome through this whole experience. I feel very pampered and spoiled - but that is okay - I'm lovin it !!

Once again - thank you so much for my flowers, Henrietta, my basket of goodies (which my daughter has been eyeing), cards, jewelry, and most of all your love !!

We though you could use some special pampering after your surgery!! Your good spirts just amaze me!

Sit back and relax and enjoy your candies and cookies and I promise not to break out the whip for atleast two weeks! LOL!

Hi Teri, so glad you are home and they got all the cancer.....what a relief for you and your family ( and us too).

I remember those drainage tubes from my sister, I was there to help her for 10 days. I was the one to do the squeezing a couple times a day and record the amount of fluid.....just glad I was there to help her.

It is a shock to see the breast gone, I know hon but your here and the cancer gone that is what is important....you can get reconstruction or not....with the forms they look very real in the bra.

My sister had lots of energy when I was there, we went everywhere but she would not take her pain meds and then have much pain at night so try to stay on time with the meds, it will help you.

I haven't been able to get out to get you a card as the meds I'm on knock me out but know my thoughts are with you and you and your family are in my prayers.

I am so glad to hear the good news and to have you back.I haven't been around much lately myself so I'm trying to catch up on everyone and everything.You make sure you take care of yourself before anyone else and rest when needed,don't over-do it and have a very quick recovery!Take this time to sit back,enjoy a cup of that tea and read a book.Allow yourself to be spoiled!
