Default HELLO ALL!! I am new :)

Hello All,

I am a 28 year old female. I am currenly overweight. I graduated HS at 120, and over the last 10 years, I have gained 90lbs. I am now (to me) grossly overweight. I hate myself.

I am married, my husband is over in Iraq, with no children. I have two lovely kitty cats though.

About three years ago, I started LA Weight Loss. I was 170 then. I went down to 150 and could not lose anything past that. I stayed at 150 till after my marriage, then went up to 180 about 6 months later. I was 150 for about 4-5 months.

So, I am here just trying to take control of my weight.

I have been trying to eat sensibly, but it does not seem to be helping any.

I get up about 5am, have 24oz of coffee with sugar free creamer, 1 english muffin plain, a piece of fruit (apple, pear or banana) about 10am I have 1/2 fat free cottage cheese about 12 I have a small bag of baby carrots, about 6 I have a whole chicken breast and a salad no dressing. I am in the car for about 2.5-3 hours driving. I have cut out almost all pepsi/coke products and drink flavor water or juices.

Any suggestions? THANKS!!!!

I'm not sure that you are eating enough. If your body thinks it's hungry, it won't burn fat. Try maybe adding a bowl of soup or a sandwich to the bag of carrots that you eat for lunch. A few HEALTHY snacks in between might help you too.

Welcome and good luck to you.

Hello and Welcome to 3FC! Your story is similar to mine. I am 25 (almost 26), married to a military man, no kids, 2 pets. I went to a weight loss center, lost about 40 lbs, got down to 145/150lbs, gained almost all of the weight back in 2 years. I try to eat healthy, but my husband eats any and everything he wants and I usually join him! I want to get healthy again! I can only suggest coming here for support and accountability! When does your husband return from Iraq? Maybe you could use his return date as a goal date? Hope this helps! Take care!
