Default New here and pounds to go!

Hi all. I'm Steph. I'm new here but not new to weight loss. I'm 50+ and have been dieting since I was a teenager. I've managed to get my weight to normal a few times over the past 35 years but have spent most of my life overweight.

So now I'm starting again - mostly for health reasons. I'm finding it very hard to breath, walk, and just carry out my normal life. I need to make some changes and I'm hoping to find the help and support here! I have a long journey ahead of me and plan on taking this one day at a time.

Hi Steph, I'm over 50 too, closer to 60 now. I'm definateally running into some health problems caused by the weight gain and not getting the exercise I need. I am a yo-yo- dieter. I've lost it so many times, just to regain. I know this is terrible for my health just when health issues become apparant! I think admitting the problem is the first step. Then, making a plan about what you're going to do to correct it! What changes have you made so far?

You can do this you know!

Well, I've managed to get through three nights without snacking after dinner! This is a big accomplishment for me as I am usually searching around for something to eat as soon as the kids are in bed!
