We want to start the adoption process soon and neither one of us want to be overweight parents.
I have a stressful job and not as many friends as I did in college. So basically I have little support.
I want to lose roughly 100 pounds and I have tried many diet plans and have failed. Basically it seems I have zero willpower.
And yet, this time it feels different and I really really want to succeed. I know I can do it if I just try. I have joined a gym, I love to work out and usually have lots of energy
I just love to eat, too.

You can do this, and what great motivation! Kids take energy and losing weight will help a lot! Check out the different areas on here, and perhaps you can find a diet that suits you and will be one you can stick with. I follow Sugarbusters...since I am off sugar now, I find I have MUCH more will power, and don't feel so addicted to starches and sweets.
