Talking Let's Celebrate......

Hi, my name is wild thing. I guess I picked that for my username because it's the farthest thing from the truth. My weight has reached an all time high of 306 lbs.. About a week ago I started going to the gym and watching what I eat. I decided to do this the old fashioned way. Lord knows that I've already searched for that magic pill that doesn't exist. I'm here to maybe find some inspiration among you fine people. I live in a house with fit people. My husband lifts weights, my stepson is 15.......and totally ripped, and my stepdaughter is 17 and wears a size 5. I totally don't have anybody to relate to in this house. I'm only 35 years old, but feel like I'm 70. I'm ready to get my life back.

Wild Thing,

I understand what you mean about wanting to take your life back. I have wasted many years being overweight and missing out on many things in life. I avoid vacations, going out with friends, etc. because of my weight and I am tired of it. I have been working on my weight since the beginning of the year, but lost focus during the summer when I was building a house, but I recently joined Weight Watchers and I really determined now.

Wild Thing,

I'm a great believer in doing it the old-fashioned way. You'll certainly find plenty of support and encouragement here.

And how lucky you are to have a house full of people who are into physical fitness! You and hubby will be able to work out together. Maybe you can enlist everyone in the household to help you with your weightloss plan.

Welcome to 3FC!

Hi Wild Thing!

Welcome to 3FCs!

I wanted to let you know that there is a whole section here called 300+ And Ready To Try Again. Here is a link to that area: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=124 You can find it on your own by looking under Support Groups on the main index page.

Anyway, back to our section, we have alot of great info over there along with great people who can relate to the "size" issues that only someone whose been there can.

I hope you'll join us.
