I'm Wendy (37), a SAHM from Northern California. I have two children ages 13 and almost 11 and a wonderful and supportive husband. I've never been a "dieter" and have always been pretty skeptical about fad dieting, but cutting back on my own hasn't really helped me get the weight off, so I'm looking for some support as I go through The Fat Smash Plan and try to achieve a better overall outlook with regards to food and exercise. I'm not looking for a quick fix, but to make healthy changes that will benefit me for the rest of my life.
I'm 5'6" and currently weight 168. My highest weight was around 178 in the beginning of June. I started phase 1 of Fat Smash last Sunday and was 173, so I'm already seeing success, but know the weight will come off much slower from here on out and I need to stay focused and committed to reach my goal of 145lbs.
I was diagnosed with panic disorder/generalized anxiety last fall and quickly put on 25lbs after starting on antidepressants. I've recently weaned myself off of them in hopes of controlling the symptoms through healthy eating and exercise.
