Default Looking to form group for WOHM w/ 30+ to lose

I find that I am a total stress eater. What are the areas of stress in my life? My work (engineer), my home (clutterbug issues), my children (2 and 5 - although they are also such a source of joy), my family (need say no more)...I just often don't feel like I have the physical or mental energy to take care of ME!

I don't believe in fad diets. I believe a healthy body comes from the right balance of fruits, veggies, protein (primarily meat), carbs, fat and water with plenty of exercise! However, even given the information of what IS good for me, I am a total fast food, ice cream, Coke Classic and snack food junkie who HATES exercising.

Even my fat clothes are feeling a bit tight and I was watching some old home movies last night (trying to figure out which ones I have transferred and which ones not) and saw photos of me 6 mo pg with dd and realized I pretty much look the same now!

So I would like to find a small group of women similar to me to help keep me focused, motivated and inspired. I think of myself as having a WEALTH of knowledge on what is the right way to diet that is not going to peel weight off so fast that it comes right back (with more). I believe that slow and steady is the way to the final goal.

So here I am....who is with me?

Christina,

Sounds like we have much in common. I was doing well at the end of last year and fell off the wagon. It is time to start back up before things get too out of hand. I would love to join your group.

I started out last year at 178, was down to 160 and am back to 170.5. I am planning on going back to LA Weightloss (it worked well for me) and start again.

Sounds like you could be me!
