Smile New girl on the boards...

SW 208 - my heaviest ever!
CW 168 - trucking along!
GW 118 - the weight I was on my wedding day

I am down from a size 18 in January, 2006, to a size 12 which is still alot bigger than my old size 8 jeans that are waiting for me.

I spent a lot of time battling eating disorders - lowest weight was 86 pounds -in high school only to end up getting bigger with each of my two pregnancies and ending up at 208.

I have tried NutriSystem - I think the way it works is the food is so bad you just don't eat! - and I have joined Curves. I am currently giving the Duke University Rice Diet a whirl (as seen in the June 5th issue of First magazine) since I don't eat meat ( ) and it's alot of starches and fruit which I can eat without problems. If anyone has any advice or comments about the Rice Diet I'd love to hear from you! I also take daily vitamin, green tea and hoodia supplements with occasional protein shakes (in lieu of meat) as the diet allows.

Anyway - I have at least 50 to go to get to my wedding day weight but would love to knock another 10 off that to get to 108 (a good weight that works well on my 5'4" frame). So, that's me in a nutshell - glad to be here!!
