Default Hi I'm NIKKI!!!!!!!

hehe Hi! I was told about this forum about 2 weeks ago but decided to join today!

Let's see.. my name is Nikki, as if that wasn't obvious. I'm 23 years old. I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I currently weigh 154lbs, and I'm 5'7. My short term goal is 140lbs, and my long term goal is 125-130lbs. Or more if I have lots of muscle. I'm a size 8 but I would love to fit into all of my size 6's from last year and maybe even 4s!! I gained weight VERY quickly. Last October I had rhinoplasty and I don't know if it was the stress from the surgery or what, but I gained 20lbs in about 2 months, adding an extra 5 over the past 3 or so. The weight keeps sneaking up and up. I remember weighing myself in January and weighing in at 145 and coming back into my room hysterically crying my eyes out. I wish I could just be comfortable with where I am and what I have, but it's really hard seeing so many tiny girls complain about their weight. There are also a lot of clothes that I wish I could wear! I love clothes! When I talk about the weight I gained, I claim that it's my "relationship weight". I think the thing that I fear the most, though, is that my "relationship weight" will keep going up and the scale will keep going up. So, I decided (even though I have decided a million times before) that it's time to make a change.

So I just joined Weight Watchers online on Friday. My stepfather is also doing it so I have motivation right in my own house!

I am a member of a gym, but I certainly don't go enough! I hope to change that, as I've written out this hopeful plan for the upcoming week.

Monday: Evening little bit of cardio/weights with my boyfriend, Nick (He's a good trainer for heavy lifting, hehe)
Tuesday: 9:00am 20/20/20 class "20/20/20 gives you two segments of cardio and one segment of toning to make your workout complete. It is the instructor’s choice which cardio segments are used, so it could be any combination of step, hi/lo, or kickboxing. (55 minutes)"
Wednesday: 6:00am-7:00am Yoga (this is going to suck a lot trying to get myself out of bed at 5:15, and I've never done Yoga anywhere but in my living room)
Thursday: Something, whatever, in the AM. Hopefully ride my bike to the gym (about 3 miles each way) and then maybe a little bit of running on the treadmill.
Friday: 6:00-6:45am Spin (I've never done this before and I'm sure I will die, I'm SO scared!!!)
Saturday: Weights hopefully with Nick again if I can drag him (and myself) to the gym on a Saturday

I read recently that you should set goals to go to the gym 6 days a week, because most people have a 30% failure rate. And if you set your goal to 3x a week, you might only go twice, or even once! So I am setting my goals for this week HIGH!

But still, I'm scared because of my failures in the past. If someone sets a cheeseburger down in front of me, I start saying and thinking things like "Oh whatever I look fine and life is too short to not eat such wonderfully tasting foods". I think Weight Watchers might work for me. I will still be able to eat that cheeseburger once in awhile, I just have to save up points!

Anyway, Hi!
