Hi ladies -

How are we doing? I had a great day yesterday. I walked 4 miles and ate good. Today I woke up and did my exercise video before I even turned on the computer. I hope you are all doing good.

I hope you are both doing well. Emzi how dd the interview go?

Hey all I am back! Ottawa was great! my eating was ok pretty much ate good portions of everything and tried to eat healthy 90% of the time...had a few glasses of wine during my week overall good week but no exercise (well some walking but nothing worth mentioning...)

Iam glad you had a nice trip. My week went real well. I jumped back into my exercise and I am at 157.6 today. 156 will be the lightest I have been in 5 years so I am looking forward to getting there next week.

Hi, Fitgal 2, Nikki 128 and Emzi Bops,

Hope it's OK to just jump in here! I came for one visit in Week 2 and fell right off the wagon again, but am back to start over again and get it right this time. Can't seem to find the "rules" of this Slim for Summer thread, but would love to see those again since that's what made me sure this is the place for me. How could I find that info?

I'm actually on Day 3 of getting back on track exercise-wise. Did 22 minutes Friday and Saturday of my favorite Cher step aerobics tape. My short term goal is to be able to walk in the NC mountains (without collapsing and rolling right back downhill) by July 1, when we'll arrive up there. My medium range goal is 12 weeks of summer fitness and good eating so I can drop 20 pounds by Sept. 1. My long term goal is to lose 40 pounds. I'd secretly love to lose 50 (my weight in my 20's was 60-70 pounds lighter cause I ran and did Karate) but losing 40 pounds would make me one happy camper. Haven't seen that weight since before getting pregnant with my son 12 years ago.

Nikki, that's too cool that you're down to 157.6. You go, girl!!! How long did it take you to get there? Emzi, looks like we have similar weight goals - and good luck on the job interviews! And Fitgal 2, don't tell me that's you in that photo. You look amazing if it is, and if not, that's what I'd love to look like too! ;-D

Hi Diane -

Welcome aboard. Your goals sound great. I started my weightloss journey in August 04. I was 198 at that point so thats almost 2 years I am at it. Also, before I came here at one point I was 230 and got down to 198. So when I reach my goal I will have lost 100 pounds.

Hi fitgal-

I had a so so weekend eating wise. I had lots of salt so I am giving myself a day or so to drink water and de salt before I weigh. I went on 2 short mile - 2 mile hikes on Saturday and Sunday. So today my legs are aching.

im still here.. just so busy... the dieting is kinda outta the window at the minute. havent had time to prepare things or nothing. bn havin loadsa friends over and a couple of parties this weekend. so the alcohol hasnt bn helping.

I spent the past two days furiously cleaning house (and scrubbing mildew off our brick walk outside in the nice cloudy hurricane weather - it missed us here in Florida but cooled everything down very nicely!) so I got a total of about 16,000 steps in over the two days plus a great biceps workout! ;-) Also watched what I ate, so it was a good couple of days. Am heading out to ride my bike now for a more aerobic workout. Good luck to all on the eating challenges... that's my biggest problem, too!

Hey ladies!

so on MOnday I had a couple of friends over. We went out for dinner, I ate pretty well then we went out for some drinks and I had a few too many so yesterday I was nursind a hangover UGH...My one friend and I who stayed the night went out for breaky-I ate pretty good (2 french toast and fruit) then I just started feeling crappy-even more so...my tummy was quesy so I munched on some baked lays...started to feel better, had a nap, then decided that i wanted Burger King....yes I went and got it...so then after that I was like wellI just blew it so I may as well get a "treat" so I got a slice of cheese cake to go with my "meal".... UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hahaha stupid hangover! hahaha

So today I went for a walk, I came home and felt dizzy/lightheaded ALLLLLLLL day! so strange...I am feeling better now, but man talk about scary...good thing I have my check ups on tuesday!

Fitgal- be careful was it hot out?

I have not been able to do as much walking as I was an old injury is acting up. I am going to workout now though on my ball.


Friday I was up 3 lbs back to 160 hopefully this week I will blow that away.

Yahoo! My scale died a few weeks ago so I assumed I was still at my all-time heaviest though I've been watching the eating. Still feel that big, but it turns out I'm down to 182.8! Hope you're feeling better, fitgal. Any more dizziness since that last workout?
