Wow, Some! Way to go! I am glad to see you started TODAY!!! No use waiting!!! Yippeeeeeeee!

Like you, I am not doing any diet plan but just on my own and eating healthful meals and exercise; mostly walking but work in other stuff sometimes.

>>>I plan to just cut my portions, and choose better things...the things God intended us to eat at the beginning of creation.<<<

WOW I can't believe you said this! That is MY plan too! My basic rule is "If God created it for us to eat, eat it... if man screwed it up and made it, beware." Guess what... it WORKS!! You get a lot more that way too! You can eat a LOT of spinach and tomatoes and still lose weight!! No calories wasted on and LOL

I have a lot of neat ideas of ways I eat, etc. and things I've learned along the way... so if I can be of any help please let me know. I'd be glad to share some of my good info!!! And hey we are only 4 pounds different in our weight now too!! Let's do this together!!

We have a lot in common. I lived in Florida for four years too... Fort Lauderdale! Too hot and humid for me LOL but have fun memories and great friends there! Am hoping to get back for a visit this fall.

You are OFF!!!!! Yay!!!

I find my greatest help is bagged lettuce. If we're too exhausted when we get home to fix great food, all we gotta do is grab a couple handfuls of salad mix, use my favorite light dressing and take the edge of the hunger. Plus, the fiber shuffles the food through the system faster so calories are less readily absorbed. I make much better food choices when I'm not so hungry I'm ready to eat anything moving slow enough for me to catch. Definitely, crockpots are a great invention and I love the idea of freezing food on the weekends. There are some books on Amazon giving tips on that. I also find clearing the temptations out of the house at the start of a diet helpful as well. Hurray for you, starting right away. WooHoo to a New You!!
