Default No more lurking!

Hi everyone! I posted on someone else's thread a short time ago, because I'm NEW and didn't know what I was doing!! Anywho, I'm 37 yrs old, married with two children, and after lurking on this site for over a month decided I had to join because the friendliness, support, and encouragement you all give each other is so inspiring! I have between 20-25 lbs to lose and as I've seen, whether it's 20 lbs. or 120 lbs. everyone is so great about answering questions, etc. So, it's nice to finally meet all of you!!

Merrygirl: I've been lurking too but you've inspired me to post and get more involved in this site. I love it here. Everyone is so nice and supportive.

Hi Merrygirl, I'm 40 and also have to lose 20-25 lbs. What type of exercise program do you do? I have a hard time dieting, so I'm just saying I'm eating better. Hice to meet ya.

Hi Rhonda! Well, exercise is kind of my problem right now. I alternate between cardio and weights, but I've gotten bored with the treadmill so I've been doing WATP 2 and 3 mile walk. I need to up the cardio but I'm an absolute dunce when it comes to aerobics!! When I live in FL some friends and I walked 3 miles every morning, and I really feel that helped with my weight loss, but now that I live in MD the weather (at least not right now) isn't cooperating. I've read on the other forums about The Biggest Loser DVD's so I might try that. I need to post my s/c/ g weights!

Hi Merrygirl! Welcome! I'm relatively new as well and have about another 20 lbs to go. I'm going to be 40 at the end of May and that's my goal date to lose the weight. I also have two children, a girl, 18 (who is going to University in the fall and that process is becoming highly stressful!!! - she's going for chemical-physics) and a boy, 15, who has just discovered weight lifting and all of a sudden is asking me questions as if he actually thinks I have a brain! (anyone with teenagers will know what i mean!)
