Hey guys!! I'm another newbie looking to lose some weight! I'm 23 yrs old and currently weigh 205 lbs, well over what is considered healthy for my height and age. I have tried dieting several times and have failed. Not because I can't do it, but because I lose my motivation. It's hard trying to stick to diet and exercise when you do it all alone. I love food and I think that any diet is super difficult to stick to if you are deprived of all the foods that you love. I'm hoping that I will be able to still lose weight while eating what I want and just watching my portions, and of course exercising. I could definitely use a little help and I'm glad that I came across this site!! You guys seem very helpful and polite!! Well wish me luck!!! I'm starting tomorrow!!!!

Good for you for getting the weight off while you're still young. Stick to it, and you won't have the endless struggle that some of us have had.

You two have chosen a great site for support and information. I've found that it is hard to lose the weight and stay motivated by yourself. Since I've joined this site I have the motivation and support that I need. There are a lot of wonderful people here. It is a very warm place to be.

Nice to be surrounded by gals that have the same goals! I set a short term goal of 170, just so that I don't get too frustrated. I am getting married in less than 5 months and have found that really lit a fire under me. Drop me a note anytime, I can be a great listener!
