Hi, My name's Crystal and I currently at 271 pounds. I am only 5'3" so I have 150 pounds to loose. I started counting calories (1600-1700 aday). and walking 30 minutes a day. My kickboxing classes start on the 4th of April. that will be 2 hours a week. I am just looking for someone who is in the same boat as I am, My 2 best friends are fitness buffs and are very fit and only diet to lose 5-6 pounds after the holidays. Oh have you found a lot of people in the same boat! This is a great forum to find support and encouragement, and share your successes and "not so successful" moments. Glad you found us!!
You sound like you are off to a great start. I have been here only a few weeks, and am always inspired by lots of people. Take a look at some of the boards and you will see what I mean.Someone here sent my to Fitday.com and it is great for logging your food intake and exercise. I am trying to loose 100 lbs. I am 5'8" and weigh 267( for a few weeks I couldn't even type the numbers in). You should check out the 100 lbs club, I am there and there are many great people there, who are great inspirations. Hi Cheryl... I know what you mean about its being hard to type the numbers in at first! We are so used to hiding our weight!! But then we see so many other people right in our same boat and start to feel more comfortable sharing our own struggle! We are not alone, and that helps.
