Post Help I need a buddy!

I'm looking for a buddy, because I've been so stressed out lately, and I need some advice and some motivation from you guys. I lost 4 pounds last week, but when I weighed myself this morning, I didn't loose a pound. I exercised, I drank water, and ate healthy, so I don't know why I didn't loose a pound, but anyway I want to weigh under 200 pounds, my goal is 175. So someone please help me. Thanks.

Honestly I don't go to any gyms, but I will hopefully sign up for one in February. Basically what I've been doing is walking a lot, and I love to dance to music. Its probably not enough exercise, but I can feel pain from the dancing and, when I walk I sweat a lot from that. I eat about five times a day. I usually eat cereal with 1% milk in the morning. Later in the morning I'll probably eat eat a banana or a cereal bar. For lunch I'll make a sandwich, with whole wheat bread, low salt turkey and fat free cheese, or I'll buy a chicken salad, or sometimes I would eat oatmeal. I'll eat another snack maybe a fruit or some jello. For dinner I usually eat yellow rice with chicken or meat, and some veggies. In between the day, I would drink about 6 glasses of water or maybe more. In the afternoon that’s when I would walk and after dinner which is after 6, I would work out or dance. I don’t what's wrong, in the beginning its been good, but know I'm confused please help?

Think about this a minute .... you're in this for the long haul right? Over time, you're going to lose lots of weight, right? So average your loss over the whole two weeks and you are losing 2 pounds a week, right. That's very good and sensible.

What's yellow rice?

Do you understand what I mean by 'whole, natural foods'?

Lots of folks work out at home. Walking and dancing are wonderful ways to start.

Yes I eat grains. Well how about cheerios, wheat bread, and oatmeal? That's what I eat. If that’s not enough what should I be eating? Yellow rice is Spanish rice, and its healthier than white rice. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies, if that's what you mean by natural food, and we should be diet buddies.

I like the oatmeal idea best

When I talk about whole natural foods, I mean stuff you can recognise. An apple is an apple, a piece of fish is ... well just that. If you can't figure out how they did that ... it's not real food.

Do you have a free account at fitday.com?

You've got some pretty good ideas. Just keep posting. I'll answer ... lots of folks will answer. You'll soon have so many diet friends, you won't know who to answer first.

I'm doing it again????? same goes for you.

Thanks so much, and I feel you, I worked out so hard this week, I mean sometimes I would wake up in the morning with pains. I was really hoping to loose 1 or 2 pounds this week. I guess we have to take it each day at a time. I just with I could see results so much faster, but good luck to you, and I wouldn't mind being buddies.

I eat natural foods, and I'm starting to like oatmeal.

I don’t have a fitday account, but I'll check that out.

I'm a start posting more then, I juts made this account about 2 weeks ago. So I'll try to get on about twice a week. Thanks for all your help though.
