Wanted: motivated people needed to play 'Dump your plump'!

    My name is Diane, and i'm a member of a support group on this forum called a few good friends and we are looking for friendly, highly motivated individuals to play a motivational weight loss game to keep us motivated, focused, encouraged and most of all to make our journey fun! So, if fun is up your alley then c'mon over and join us at:http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/show...97#post1093997 or make a post on this dump your plump thread and tell us you wanna play so we can create an official list of players at the start of the game....

    dieters of any weight loss plan are welcome to come and play with us! we will be playing the game based on point values that we will give ourselves each week based on positive behaviors such as exercising, drinking water, healthy food choices and of course pounds and inches lost!

    the player with the most points earned at the end of each month will receive recognition on the board and will be encouraged to treat him or herself to a small personal reward.

    game will begin on 1-23!

    so whatya say? are you ready to dump YOUR plump?
  • Objectives ...
    Promote safe and gradual weight loss through proper
    nutrition and exercise.
    Encourage the development of peer support through
    team competition.
    ncrease the awareness of nutrition and exercise as
    it relates to weight management.
    Provide an activity that is healthy, educational and fun!


    dump your plump reward values:

    exercise: 1 point per 20 minutes

    water: 1 point per 1/2 gallon, 2 liters, 64 oz.

    healthy food choices:1 point healthy meal

    pounds/inches lost per week:2 points per pound or inch

  • Hi! I'm very new to this forum, but after reading a lot of the threads and posts I became very interested very fast. I have 130 pounds to lose and I'll take all the help I can get so count me in on this game!!!

    Yes I know what you mean Janet I need all the help I can get too because I"m back at 173 because I made a not so good choice for breakfast I had Peanut Butter and Jelly with Lemonade I know it was a dumb move but I just needed something more than water I guess I get those urgers sometimes to drink something sweet with another sweet. Jane I'll help you with your weight loss if you have AIM that would be great we can both support each other in our weight loss journey to success.

    ive seen this done bf on alotta boards and it usually is tons of fun esp. when you can get enough ppl to make teams almost like a big loser type thing but w/o the prize of money so it actually stays fum w/o ppl turning on each other! we are gonna do this!

  • Hi Andrea! I'd like to participate in Dump Your Plump!!! Sounds like fun. I'm brand new to 3fatchicks TODAY. Need to get involved. I have about 70 pounds to lose. I'm planning on doing some aerobics workouts.

    try ff peanutbutter,sugar free jelly,and lemonaid with splenda. not many points lol.we all need more than water .
    I am trying to get back to 160 to 165 ( I weight 254 sarted 260)but i am looking at short term right now 10% is my first goal that is 26 pounds. i have lost 6 so 20 more to go.
