Welcome, I also am back on the weight loss track. Weight watchers was something my mom did a lot when i was younger, and she was always hungry she said. I started on the atkins diet on monday i've already lost 7 pounds and while it's not real noticeable to the naked eye, it feels good to me. Its nice to know that i can loose that much weight in 2 days and not be hungry. My mother in law and my grandmother are on the atkins and they have been for awhile. My mother in law lost 40 pounds in like 3 months and my grandmother lives on it, becuase she doesn't like the way all those carbs make her feel. Let me tell you if you're like me and you love bread, then the first 2 days are hard. But i've learned from everyone that i don't have to cook two different meals, I eat what everyone else eats, Hamburgers. Just take the bun off and use a fork. Hot dogs, without the bun, I love eggs and i can eat all of those i want. And when i crave bread i get the low carb bread which is like 6 carbs a slice, have some toast with butter and i drink lots of water, and Fresca soda (no carbs or sugar) My weakness is the breads, the rolls, and the biscuts. I love them!! I don't have any kids yet myself but i have a very active 7 year old niece who always wants me to play with her. At 5'11 my weight doesn't look too bad but it is to me. I have found that i've had more energy rather its mental from knowing i'm 7 pounds lighter. And believe me the only thing that keeps me on this is the weight loss, the fact that i can see it after one day! Good luck and feel free to e mail me anytime if you like support or just to talk!
