Looking for "buddies" to share this adventure with! I'm 48, trying to lose about 50 lbs, and looking for all the support and ideas available out there. My kids are grown and gone and I want to change the lifestyle of myself and my husband so that we will have many more great years together.

Hi, I would love to be your buddy. I am 48 but will be 49 in a week. I need to lose more weight than you but I am going to concentrate on losing 50 in 2006. I am going to try and reach my goal by eating a healthy eating plan and exercise. I live in KS but I have been to Ohio. A long time ago.

Just saw your post! New to the site -- and slow getting around!

It would be great to have you as a buddy. It sure helps when there are others to talk to and share -- and be "held accountable" to.

To update you on my status --
I'm doing WW on my own. Doing great so far -- writing everything down, drinking all my water, and even took a walk at lunch today. I work full time, so I need to work on getting my exercise in and treat it as a priority!
