Hi all. I am glad I found this site as it seems a lot of fun.
Being Australian, I try to convert my measurements correctly, but please forgive any mistakes.
I started my healthy lifestyle two years ago when I realised that I had better do something or I wouldn't be spending many more years with my wonderful husband. Through better eating and lots of exercise I have managed to lose 80kg/175lbs. I am really proud of my achievements, but still have at least 10kg/25lbs to lose to reach my target. My aim has always been to have maintained a healthy weight for 12 months by my 45th birthday. Well, I turn 44 in early April, so I want to get a move on to achieve my aim.
I lost an average of 1kg a week all last year, until the very end when I went off a form of contraceptive and started my cycle again. I've never had a regular cycle with being overweight, to this regularity is a surprise to me. Well... the reason I'm mentioning that is because I seem to put on weight at 'that' time of the month, which is a real drag when I am SO close to target.
I'm still eating really well and I exercise twice a day - treadmill in morning and exercise bike in afternoon. I have a dietician giving me great advice, but I was wondering if any of you have any good ideas to help me lose these last kilos.
Thank you for any help you can offer. I know I'll get there, but I would REALLY like to get there by early April.
