Buddy needed

  • Hi New here. Really looking for a buddie!!!! Would love to be able to share all my do's and dont's of dieting. And mabey getting a little help with my day. Just let me know if anyone needs are the same

    I'll be a buddy to you. You can never have too many buddies. Would love to share ideas and the do's and don'ts. It would be nice to hear what works for others. I have been here off and on for a few years. Just came back so I'm like a new member all over again. You're going to love it here. There's so much support and you'll make lots of friends.

  • Was wondering if there was any support here.lol. I just thought it might be helpful to be able to talk to people with same issues. I dont have anyone that can relate to me and my issues. Ive never known skinny. I didnt get fat because of my babies. I lost weight and looked better pregnant. I just quit smoking August 24, 2005 and was doing great for dieting till then. I went back to work in January weighing 242 and now I am at 212. Just got to get jump started again. Can you tell me if I have to do that weight tracker every time I post or is there a way that it will be there when I post every time.



  • It's definitely nice to talk to others that have the same issues. They can tell you been there done that. This worked for me, try this, it could work. I have a couple of friends that can relate to having weight issues, but sometimes it's hard to talk about. One was going to weight watchers. I was going to go with her to have moral support, but of course hubby thought it might not be the best idea. He feels the need to be my trainer and give me routines to do. I kinda like the idea of having a routine set up by me. I don't really like it when he harps at me to follow his routine because it works for him. I'm not him.

    I can relate to you about never really knowing what skinny is. The last time I remember being thin was before I started Kindergarten. After that, my weight just bloomed. I think alot had to do with finishing what you put on your plate, eating late at night and just not knowing when to say enough is enough. I'm full. STOP shoveling the food in.

    I'm at 213 right now and definitely need to get jump started in the right direction. I want lose 20 pounds by Christmas so I can get under 200.

    As far as the weight tracker goes, if you go to your profile you should see a place for signatures. If you copy and paste the link there, it will show up in all your threads. Of course when it changes you need to make sure to update it.
