My name is Victoria and I'm 34 and have lost about 55-60 pounds so far, but with summer vacations I've hardly lost anything even though I've been trying as hard as can be expected when you are not in control of what food you're offered.
I try to work out 3 times a week and am on Atkins. I know it's not popular anymore, but I don't care. I feel great, I look great, my acne cleared up, my cholesterol improved, and my heart attack risk dropped to lower then low.
Well, going away for 5 days for my sis' wedding. I'll try not to gain too much and keep the wedding cake to one small piece and no more. It's the drinks at the Batchorette Party that will probably kill me! Heck, there's parties/dinners almost every night starting with the night I arrive.
WTG Victoria as dilleight said it's all about what works for you ,me I dont think I could do the Atkins but power to you. I am Lazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy and its to much work for me, One of my co-worker has been living the Atkins way for years and she is all way healthy so you go for it girl
I didn't do so great on vacation, though I could have done a lot worse. Mostly what messed me up was all the drinking at the parties. Waaaay too many calories.
Then I was eating too many carbs and had to binge, so yesterday I ate a large pizza and an order of CinnaStix. I've gained a ton of weight and am afraid to weigh myself.
Back on track today.
Too sick to want to excercise, so I'm just sitting/lying around all day. My sister was kind enough to share her cold with me at the wedding.
