This is about how I'm feeling now adays, except not that cute...I have 30 pounds to lose and little to no self control. I'm a SAHM...3 children in school and a 2 month old (July6). I gained 40 pounds during the pregnancy but only lost 20 plus an extra 10 had somehow crept on board before I got pregnant. I had a c-section in July with complications resulting in a hysterectomy, removal of both tubes, one ovary, and 90% of my cervix. I got the okay to start diet and excersize 2 weeks ago...and I have tried. I wake up every morning telling myself that today is the day it will start to work...by lunch (I do eat breakfast) the hunger begins and I end up snacking...I can't stop, I just eat and eat all day...knowing full well that I'm not doing the right thing and hating myself for it...all the while stuffing my gob with more food. By bedtime...I am totally repulsed by my image...I can only imagine how my husband feels.

I put the baby in the stroller and we walk for at least a mile every day...nothing strenuous, just a stroll to get out of the house...but unfortunately, I have been having hip pain (a residual of this pregnancy...it was a hard one).

I have a million and one exuses...I know that. If I could just get out of this funk and get my stuff together.

Anyways...I'm hoping y'all will have some good advice and that we can all motivate each other...although PLEASE no one say "you just had a baby"...I feel sorry for the next person that does! LOL
