
Hi, I'm new to this site but not new to obesity

I'm 38 yrs old, married to the best man on the planet (in my eyes) and have 2 wonderful teenagers
I have been over-weight most of my life, but it really hit hard after I had kids. I started Atkins 4 yrs ago and lost 80lbs in the first 7 months....then it stopped. I have been yo-yo'ing 30lbs for the last 2 yrs. A good friend of mine talked me into trying low-fat (The Susan Powters plan) We started aug 8th and as of last Monday(8-22) I'm down 3lbs.! It's hard switching from LC to LF, I find myself really wanting a cheeseburger

But on the otherhand this is alot easier to follow. I have slipped twice but its not like on LC when it sets you back a month! and I dont have an aweful headache the next day
I'm looking forward to meeting some new friends here and sharing our success!
