New gal looking for buds

Hi to all,
I am almost 55 years old, have 80 pounds to lose. I've been up and down forever and am tired of having to lose this weight. My current weight is 240 pounds and I'm so disgusted. I'd sure like to have some buddies to help me be accountable to, or join a group with weekly weigh ins. Hope to hear from you all soon.

I need help too

I'm 58 years old and my health is really being affected by the excess weight I am carrying. This morning I weighed in at 275.5 pounds. Over the past 18 months I have gained about 50 pounds. Why is it so hard to get off but so easy to put on.

Hey Kathy and Mavis, Welcome to my world too! I have been on a diet since I was 10 yrs. young. LOL I use to drop 10 lbs. no problem but now as we age we must change our outlook and exercise for enjoyment (so we stick with it), eat healthier and get support from the "girls". If you're like me my DH loves me anyway he can get me or so he says, but I really get my support from everyone on this site. I could spend hours on here but I really need to be accountable daily so that I stay motivated. I joined a gym but have only been four times in two months. With that said do you guys have small goals and do you journal your food & why you eat? This has helped me. If you would like to work-out with me e-style let me know. Ciao

Hi, thought I'd write. I'd love to be buddies. I am married, mom to three kids (ages 12 1/2, 10 and 8 1/2). I am 36 yrs old (almost 37 my bd is Sept. 29). I work as a receptionist. I joined WW in January and was doing great losing from 260.4 down to 226 lbs. but have missed several meetings and am back up to 237 lbs. I could kick myself for falling off the wagon and messing up, but now I'm finding it SO HARD to get back on track and start losing again. But I'm ready to get with it and lose this weight once and for all.
