Default Need to lose 130 lbs (50 lbs by christmas) HELP!!

I am looking for a buddy. On kind of short notice, my fiance's parents are flying over here from Nova Scotia for christmas. We decided to just get married then as we don't know when the two families would be together again. Sooooooo, I have 5 months to do some major work. I need to lose about 130 lbs, but I figure I can lose at least 50 lbs from now until then. I sincerely don't want to weight this much when I get married. If there is anyone with as much weight to lose who is very serious, or even better who lives by me, let me know!!! (I am in edmonton, alberta)

Default Idea

Hey, was just thinking that we could start out own little support group. I don't know what your guy's schedule is like, but I work from home and am on the computer most of the time. Was thinking if you have msn messenger, we could pick a time of day to meet up or time of week and have a meeting, etc.
If you are interested at all, I am totally for it. Right now I am for exercise, walking and at home doing richard simmons, 2 lbs weights, exercise ball, and also have like an ab/arm strength machine. For food I am cutting portions, also following the points for weight watchers but no including points for exercise or anything. I send in my food log at the end of each night to my sister. She is an amazing person, she replies every day with an inspirational quote or message. It has truly been a key in my sticking so well with this.
Let me know if you're interested, I believe my email is in my profile =)

Thumbs up Schedule and bio

Hey Gals!

I am on and off the computer all day at work on weekdays only. I could meet in the mornings around 11:00 AM - the the best case scenerio, but I am willing to try and fit into whatever the crowd wants.

I'm doing WW points (not as accountable as I need to be) and I just bougt the Core Effects ball and video that I will open up tonight or tomorrow morning. I can also commit to a mile walk everyday, but that's about it right now. I also have the low impact WW arfeobics video that I can commit to do.

Bravo!!!!!! on the soda! I am cutting WAY back - possibly three diets a week and sticking to at least 3 1/2 quarts a day. That seems to be the easy partfor me. I am a night-time binger because I have a sleep phobia, but I am working with a therapist and a doctor to investigate the probels further.

I have no excuses, I'm just self-centered and scared of life at the same time! I know that's crazy, but I'm working on it!

Thanks for letting me aboard!

Hey guys!!

I've been out of it the past few day and I didnt see the posts!!

I've been pulling up vinyl tile in the bathroom of my new house.. the idiots covered mosaic tile! FOOLS!!

Anyway.. I think a little support group would be cool.. I think its a great idea..

I did about 45 minutes on my gazelle and like I said.. the tiles.. that took over 2 hours just to do 7 or 8 of them..

And I weighed myself this morning (TOM finally ended... it was a long one) and I'm down 4 more pounds!! Freekin cool..

Cant wait to hear from everyone else!

Hey guys..

I'm new to the forums, but i'd love to join the group. I really need to lose over 120lbs, more than that, actually. I havent weighed myself in ages, and am hesitant to do so for awhile. For now I think I will stick to cutting my calories down and exercising and measuring my inches lost. If I were to estimate, Id put my weight at about 350-360 lbs. My goal will eventually be 200lbs methinks. (I'm 6'2 with a large frame).

I only started 3 days ago. For exercising Im walking, I have an ab-roller thing that I'm using, and some weights that I have at home. I'm staring off slow so I don't crash and burn.

I have MSN which is on pretty much all the time, regardless of whether I'm around the computer or not. So everyone feel free to send me a message

Hi Everyone, I am also new to the forum (I joined a few weeks ago) and would love to buddy up as well. I need to lose about 147 lbs in total, and would be great to share the successes and pitfalls with a group of people who are in the same stage that I am at. Especially after my weigh in last night. I had a bit of what I would say a "naughty" week, and thought I could beat the diet, but I did not. I gained 2.5 lbs , but my BMI did go down, and I lost another 3 inches. I am in Ontario, Canada.

Hi guys..

choclablover.. I'd take inches over what the scale says any day

I keep losing inches and I can see that.. your weight flux's everyday.. today I was still that same as yesterday and that made me happy.. I do have a scale addiction and I do weight myself everyday but I dont count it until it sticks for 2-3 days and I dont put it on my tracker until thursday or friday.. and I refused to weigh myself last week because of TOM and I was up between 6-9 pounds.. and I knew that wasent right..

Just wanted to say I have messenger as well..

and we should actually start a club under Miscellaneous Clubs and we can all think of a name for it.

cant wait to hear from you guys today (I love this stupid bananna)

Yeah, starting a thread seems like a good idea. I'm still new to this whole place so I'm pretty clueless right about now.

pinkbow...you have a scale addiction. I have a scale phobia Its insane. Im much more content to measure my inches lost, for the time being. Maybe i'll work up the guts to get on the scale.

For right now, (DAY 5! ) i'm eating healthy and working out. I havent joined a gym yet. I'm hesitant to do so because the place where I work is working on a corporate deal with a gym called Nubodys, which would really lower the cost for me. But its taking awhile. So I'm sticking to walking and exercising in the house. I'm REALLY tempted to try water areobics...if I can make myself get in a swimsuit.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
