Hey! I know we talked before, I do want to be your buddy I still can't figure out this whole PM thing (I am rather new to the threads). Maybe we'll talk in here and that way if other people want to join our chat they can. As you already know I am 21 years old, 5'4 130 pounds and would like to get down to 115. I am going to be a senior in college so I'm trying real hard to learn how to balance a social life with a healthy lifestyle. It's just so hard... like a vicious circle where all week I eat so healthy and work out so hard so I can fit my jeans to go out in over the weekend, but the second I actually put on the jeans I give up and go out with my friends and eat/drink way too much.

My goals:
1) DRINK MORE WATER!!!
2) NO MORE BINGING!!!
3) Still go out to the bars/restaurants with friends, but stop myself after 1 piece of pizza or 2 diet cokes and vodkas.
4) Not be obsessive about perfection, because no one is perfect.

I'm 21, 5'7'' currently 149.2 not quite sure what I'm hoping to get to. My WW leader set 148 as my goal but I'd like to get under 145 and see what that looks like. I'm not as concerned about an extremely low figure b/c I'm building more muscle mass (ie my leader's same height and 154lbs but has a great body). I'm in Vancouver, BC - let's buddy up!
How are you guys doing it? Any plan in particular?

Hey guys it's mmmLatte, but I switched to this name because the other name is connected to my work e-mail address and once I go back to school (or actually end work in a week) I will not longer have access to that account.

Usually over the year I follow Jenny Craig because for a college student I find it very convenient (I am a terrible cook so frozen meals fit me like a T). How has WW been for you?

Hey!! Thanks for replying to my post!!

MMMLatte... I sent you a PM so check it whenever you can!!

YESS!! It is super hard to balance a social life w/ a healthy lifestyle!! But we all can do it!! I know it!!

My goals are similar to yours
1. Drink More Water
2. No Binging
3. Eat Healthy Foods!!
4. Workout More
5. No Wendys!!

lol.. but i can never give up my Starbucks.. So Im going to be treating myself to a Caramel Light Frap everytime I get through a whole week of exercise & eating right!! Thats the little deal I made with myself.

Well today, Im doing pretty good so far. Had my Special K & Soy Milk for Breakfast.. and a Fat Free Blueberry Yogurt for Snack.. Cant wait to eat Lunch in an hour!!

What about you guys!?!

My problem has never been exercise. That is one thing that I am really good about it, even when I know I am going to be a lot on a certain day I always wake up and work out (I am a morning person so there's nothing else better to do because everyone else is sleeping...)

I LOVE Starbucks. I like lattes with skim milk and sugar free vanilla (I hear they aren't bad for you, but at the same time the last thing I need is extra calories)

Another of my goals that you reminded me of is to stop celebrating my success with food (my mom always did that, whenever something good happened I would get cookies or cakes or chinese food) so I associate being happy with eating more (not good).

I was on Jenny Craig but when I went home for the summer my mom didn't want me to eat frozen food while she was cooking so I've gained about 5 pounds this summer grr!

Awww.. girl dont worry about those 5 pounds.. you can lose them in no time.. I was actually involved in a car accident about 4-5 months ago.. and gained 15 pounds since then.. thats how i got to 163... but as you can see, Ive gone done a bit from there.. and i know im going to reach my overall goal in no time!!
I like to celebrate my success with something... Its like a little treat for me to keep me going and motivated and looking forward to the next one that i get. Im like a little puppy!! lol

I love to work out in the morning also!! But lately, Ive been having to get up early & be at work at 8am.. so I dont have enough time to work out and make it home to shower and then to work.. So I leave it for night time.. I cant wait until my hours go back to 10-6 so that i can work out in the mornings!!

CookieMonster/MMMLatte, did you get my PM?

I would still love to be your buddy Daisy if that is ok with you. What is a usual day of eating and exercise for you? Maybe we can critique each other...

WW has been great. I didn't really have a problem with the exercise before but I've found some new activities I love so it makes it even easier to look forward to it. I like WW because I know that I'll stick with it b/c they have the lifetime member program. I'm worried about doing something like meal replacement or JC because I don't know how things would go after I stopped eating the bought food. I also love to cook so WW allows me to develop that hobby. I love the leader I have so that really helps, and they just seem to have a balanced program. I counted points for a while but I'm still doing the program and not counting - I made it through last week without counting and was down a pound so I was happy with that. I haven't tried the core program.

What I like about Jenny is I don't have to think about it you know. My consultant and I write up a menu, I open a box and heat a meal up and eat it. I would be scared that I would freak out about point amounts u know? How long have you been on it and how much have you lost?

A regular day would be 60 mins of cardio & abs. I'll eat cereal w/ soy milk for breakfast, a yogurt for my 1st snack, tuna and some salad for lunch, some whole wheat sticks for 2nd snack and chicken w/ broccoli for dinner. What about you?

A regular day would be 60 mins cardio & some abs as well (we have that in common...scary how similar we actually are)
Breakfast- hard boiled egg and coffee
Snack- fat free yogurt
Lunch- 4 oz lean meat, steamed veggys
Snack- 100 calorie snack pack, apple
Dinner- 60 oz lean meat, steamed veggys
Dessert- a frozen Skinny Cow treat

I feel like that is a good meal plan, but I have been at the same weight for 2 weeks now!!! And on the weekend I would love to treat myself to a drink with my friends but then I will only gain weight (so frustrating)
