Hi! I am new here too. I also have about 50 lbs. to lose. I have been good about exercising this week (Mon., Wed. and today), but managing my food intake hasn't been quite as easy. I haven't been awful, but not good either.
My mini-goal is to shed 10 lbs. by next month as I am in a wedding. I am not following any particular diet. Rather, I am trying to eat better (less carbs, less fattening foods like candy and ice cream, more veggies, more water, etc.) and exercise at least 4X per week.
Thanks everyone! I was just on the prvention.com web site, they have some great tools to find our your calorie count and how much you burn with exercising..even walking for pleasure, which is about the speed I can go right now! Check out the tools!
