new here/old at dieting
Hi,
Just found this group while searching for the holy grail of weight loss this morning. I'm a divorced mom of 3 boys, work full-time and then go home and work the next shift packing lunches and doing laundry. And some how I stay fat? In an almost 2 year relationship and he has managed to lose almost 50 pounds in the past 5 months, which has given me that kick in the rear to get my act together.
Healthwise i suck, 32 years old and taking zocor. Diabetes runs in my family so I'm trying to ward that off, and I suffer from a fear of seeing my blood pressure readings. I am a "veggie" for medical reasons, and work out 4-5 days a week. Recently went off zoloft which helped me gain another 30 pounds in the past year. So now that I'm off that i have suffered from anxiety from not having my anxiety medicine go figure.
Any hints, help and firm kick on the backside is always accepted!
