Default New to site... need buddy.

About myself:

Location: Ohio
Home life: divorced mother of 2.
Beginning weight: 205
Current: 205
Goal: 150

My weight has been up and down for the last 20 years. After my first child weightloss was not a problem. My second however, well it just aint happening, it's been 7 years since his birth and I have only gained weight. My biggest problem, actually getting my bumm up and doing it. After working so much I don't really have energy to much of anything. I have Anemia, am naturally tired on top of it all if my level isn't right, which is often. Both of my kids are competion roller figure skaters and my wieght keeps me from skating with them just in fun. Seriously need a buddy to help with motivation.

Hi! My name is zeanea. I know what you mean about geting your bumm up to do it. I've found the most important contributor to my losing weight is praise/motivation. I need people to tell me how good I've done and to get my bumm up and keep at it. Keep me informed of your weight loss. If you have anemia you might try some exercises that are less active. Try taking a walk when the weather is good. I've lost quite a few pounds simply by going for a walk. I didn't walk extremely fast, I didn't jog, I just took in the scenery and walked at a comfortable pace. The trick was that i kept at it every day. Also I've been told that is the thing to do if you just want to lose weight/fat where working at the gym can build up your muscle and discourage you because muscle weighs twice as much as fat. Of course you also have to realize that weight loss works different for everybody so what worked for me may not work as well for you...but it's always worth a try. Keep me informed. I'd be happy to motivate you.
