Hi
I am new to this forum and am looking for a buddy to help with my weight loss. I am currently at 180lbs and need to get down to 140. I haven't really exercised in about 4 years. I rode a bike the other day for 2 miles...boy was I winded!

I have swelling in my left foot....nothing serious...but I have a tendency to retain fluid. I have lost 8 lbs and feeling much better, but I have a ways to go to reach my goal

. To be honest I never really dieted much and I really don't know where to start. The 8lbs I lost was from this fad diet I tried for a week. I hear that you will gain all that back when you go off the diet.
Menu's, tips, recipies, anything that would help would be appreciated!
