    HI Sherri,
I'm Christine. I've been doing weight watchers since april too. Since i started i've lost about 25 pounds. It was easier than i ever thought it could be, only drawback has been that my pants are too big now. Congratulations on your own weightloss, 16lbs rocks. I don't know what you do for activity, but if you've come to a plateau in your weight loss, you may need to add activity, if you're not already doing it or increase the intensity of the activity you currently do. Also, you may be ready to move down in points already, if so, that may help jump start your weight loss again. Hope i've been of some help to you and that we can be of some help to each other throughout the rest of our weightloss. Have a great weekend.

  • Hi Christine...thanks for writing me back. I have started walking at least 2 miles a day, and altho the scales aren't showing it, I think I may be losing in inches (which is also great) I'm so excited that you've lost so much weight. Weight watchers is so easy..I eat more now than I ever have. I weigh 150 right now..and I'm 5'7, but according to WW, my goal is 140, and I'm sorta stressing LOL Thanks so much for the advice and I might add a little Taebo or something when I find time!!
    YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!

  • Welcome
Welcome to the site. My name is DeeDee. I'm back on WW for the 2nd time and have been on track for about 10 weeks now. I haven't lost near as much as either of you ( 8.2 lbs.) but I have lost inches and I am feeling tons better.

If you are a diet soda person try to limit yourself to 1 per day or cut them out completely. They are filled with sodium and may be slowing your weight loss. And for heavens sake, make sure you get all your water in. I am amazed at how big a difference that makes from week to week.

Here's a great soup recipe that my WW counselor gave us and it's real easy to make and only 1 point per cup of soup

3 cans Fat Free (or close to) Chicken Broth
1 can Rotel Tomatoes (Regular or Mild -- depending on how spicy you like things)
2 lbs. California Style Frozen Vegetables
10 ounces of Light Velveeta Cheese (cubed)

Combine chicken broth, Rotel and Vegetables in large pan. Cook until vegetables are done. Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted.

    As I said 1 cup = 1 point.

Give it a try, it's delicious and very filling.

    Keep up the good work!
