Hi there... wanted to introduce myself to you all. I'm Deb, 44 years old, married with two kids who are 18 and 20. A friend introduced me to the South Beach Diet a couple days ago, after I saw a picture of myself with my younger son. It had been taken that day before his graduation ceremony, and I was disgusted at how plump I'm getting. I'm 5'3" and currently weigh 165 pounds. No matter what I've done in the past, the weight hasn't budged one bit. I'm on day #2 of Phase 1, and have been good so far about avoiding all the foods that were listed. I'm usually not real good about having structured meals, so this will be hard to get into the swing of it. I'm feeling a little shaky cuz of staying away from the carbs for the past two days, and it seems like my stomach is constantly growling. LOL But, I'm drinking plenty of water.
Any how... my goal is to get down to 130 pounds. I was wondering how I can include that cute little weight tracker graphic that you all have at the bottom of your signature?
